Access is straightforward. The beach connects directly to the Marbella promenade, the paseo marítimo that runs for several kilometres along the seafront. A home within walking distance of a beach with free parking, a working promenade, lifeguard cover, and two established beach clubs is a different proposition from one that requires a car journey to reach the sea. It also affects rental performance for owners who let their property seasonally, since tenants consistently rank walkable beach access and on-site facilities above almost every other factor. Playa del Cable doesn't try to be the most glamorous beach in Marbella. It is, however, one of the most usable, and that tends to be what matters once the keys are handed over.
